Great race and location the campsite was perfect

100% recommend, went with family, some who did the 10k and some who did the half marathon. The route is absolutely beautiful and good for beginners and seasoned runners! Great campsite too.

One of the most scenic half marathaons Ive ever run. Loved the coure. But needed lots more markers and signs across the whole course. A lot of people took wrong turns etc.

Amazing route with beautiful views, very well organised, no stress for runner just need to turn up and enjoy the race. Lots of helpers at station, some very encouraging to push you on a few more miles and a few not as much. Marshalls directing very smiley and encouraging. Nice little cheer crew at the end and brilliant medals. Nice run with no pressure so if you injured or not to fit you can still complete it and feel good as no cut off time for this distanceonly full marathon which was 10 hours. One i would run again. Thanks guys

For a local event raising money for local charities it’s a great event. It’s a shame that it can’t attract more.
The organisers are really nice and the route is really good. I’ve done this event 3 times and enjoy the friendliness of all the staff and runners.
Keep up the good work!!

My only comment would be that maybe the aid stations could go cup less, so many events now say to bring own collapsible cup so I expect most runners own one.
It cuts down on a lot of waste xx
Also, more natural sugars/fruits at the aid stations would be great, I think a lot of super markets would donate fruit as it’s a charity event? Just an idea xxxxx

Absolutely loved this challenging course. Self navigation was not a problem except the last turn towards the finish wasn’t signposted (or not visible to me!) and I missed the turning with another gentleman. We quickly realised but that particular turn could have done with bigger signage. Would highly recommend to others. Loved it!

Great to see good support for a charitable run. Snacks afterwards were spot on. Weather worked well for you all - the fleet was like a millpond. Nice to see a contignent from Westfield and other walkers encouraged to all distances. Well done.
Did the marathon last year and the 10k this year. Can reccomend both wholeheartedly.

A couple of hills and mostly tracks , a few sections through woods where footing was a bit tricky in Places . Very friendly, mix of walkers and runners . A few gates but no stiles on this route . Very nice breakfast afterwards
